M.Sc. in Mathematics, University of Melbourne (1976). Thesis entitled "Free boundaries in non-Newtonian Fluids", directed by Professor S. Rosenblat.

Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, University of Cambridge (1979). Dissertation entitled "Flows in tubes and channels with indented and moving walls", directed by Dr. T.J. Pedley.

Other interests

Classical music: player of violin, viola and piano. Principal Viola, Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra. Member, Amateur Chamber Music Players.
